Board Meeting Minutes July 25, 2021

Arnold Heyen, Gary Grivnalds, Miranda Kliment, Allan Pearson, and Esther Jonas were present.

Miranda informed us that Kevin Whitcomb made a $1,500 donation to Gary’s schooling tuition.  It will be put in the general fund and then dispersed. 

Miranda has been in contact with the synod and Grace renewed the agreement for the word and sacrament from July 1, 2021 – July 1, 2022.  This is renewed each year.

A new letter of Agreement for pastoral ministry with Gary is also July 1, 2011 – July 1, 2022. 

Construction:

The window company will start Monday to wrap the windows. 

There will be three different paint colors: One on ceiling - a flat white, side walls will be one color and the wall with the organ another color.

The first week in August they will begin painting inside.  The pews will be moved from side to side and not taken outside.

The first payment from insurance $129,390.78

Second payment from insurance $102,025.83

We have only paid $75,000.00

The steeple is left and Allan and Arnold will see what else is left for it.
